Pro Athletes Wash Childrens Feet in New Orleans During NCAA
At the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Charter School in New Orleans, volunteers and sports athletes, including LL Cool J Steve Smith from the Carolina Panthers, gathered to wash the feet of needy children and provide them with a new pair of shoes during the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship.

This was one of four events where Buick has teamed up with former University of North Dakota basketball player Emmanuel “Manny” Ohonme and Samaritan’s Feet to donate 2,012 pairs of shoes and socks to impoverished children in the New Orleans region. Continue reading
Samaritan’s Feet and Buick
To kick off the beginning of the annual NCAA basketball tournament, Buick has partnered with Samaritan’s Feet, an organization developed for putting shoes on the feet of children in need across the world.
The partnership is part of Buick’s campaign to celebrate human achievement by highlighting initiatives that give back in a big way. Known as the Buick Human Highlight reel, former collegiate athletes that have gone on to achieve great things for their communities are showcased. Continue reading
