I love sharing my events photo’s with everyone. I am by no-means a professional photographer (although Im getting better) I’m simply attempting to convey the atmosphere of these events-giving you a sort-of walk through with me…you see what I see as it unfolds. I want you to experience it through my eyes.

The overall purpose, however, is to illustrate that for a few bucks you can meet some of your favorite Athlebrities and stars. They don’t get paid to attend- they donate their time in efforts to raise money for charity. They make themselves accessible to the general public and sometimes I can’t believe that more people aren’t catching on to these events.

Granted, I understand the beauty of attending a game, but I also know its costly to spend the day bonding with friends/ kids etc, paying a small fortune for tickets, beer, popcorn, ice-cream, hot-dogs etc before waiting at the top of the ramp after the game for an autograph or dangling your kid over the dugout to grab his hero’s attention. Why not spend as little as $25 to attend a charity event where all the players are waiting to interact with fans?

It’s one of the most beautiful things to watch a father and his little boy, who’s wearing a LaDainian Tomlinson jersey, eagerly awaiting his approach…the look of hope and joy on the child’s face as he spots LT approaching…taking the time to stop, smile, and sign…before the child proudly looks up at his daddy to show him his signed football. You can’t manufacture that kind of experience or duplicate it at a game.

And that is why I promote these events. Recycle your money-give it back to the community and in return, you’ll most likely have one of the most remarkable experiences of your life.

On Saturday May 31, stars converged at a private estate in Brentwood California to attend the 7th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball. Each year, Chrysalis helps more than 2,300 men and women transition from poverty, regain their dignity and radically change their lives through jobs. And the impressive celebrity turnout speaks volumes to the good work being done by Chrysalis. Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Kate Walsh, Katherine Heigl, Eva Mendes, Mila Kunis, Amaury Nolasco, Brett Ratner, Jason Lewis, T.R. Knight and Justin Chambers, Jason Bateman, Charlie Sheen, Rebecca Gayheart-Dane, Eric Dane.

USA TODAY MAGIC JOHNSON HOLLYWOOD HERO AWARD
NBA Legend, entrepreneur and philanthropist Earvin “Magic” Johnson received the 3rd annual USA TODAY Hollywood Hero Award presented by USA TODAY President and Publisher Craig A. Moon. A long-time humanitarian and social advocate, Johnson was honored for his work in entertainment, underserved communities and the founding of the Magic Johnson Foundation. Guests including Chaka Khan, Samuel L. Jackson, Regina King, Russell Simmons and others, offered their words of praise to Magic Johnson, and by the end of the night there was barely a dry eye in the house.

CELEBRITY FIGHT NIGHT 2008
It takes a champ to raise millions for charity, and on Saturday night Muhammad Ali proved he is the Greatest of All Time while hosting the 14th annual Celebrity Fight Night. This yearly star-studded event attracts the who’s-who of charitable giving in efforts to raise money in the fight against Parkinson’s disease. This years recipients included actor Kevin Costner (Muhammad Ali Achievement Award); record producer Clive Davis (Muhammad Ali Entrepreneur Award); country singer Reba McEntire (Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award) and San Diego Charger Running Back LaDainian Tomlinson (Muhammad Ali Sports Achievement Award). Other notable celebrities in attendance included: musician Alice Cooper; actor/director Mike Binder; actor Terry Crews; Arizona Cardinal Larry Fitzgerald; musician/composer David Foster; UFC Champion Chuck Liddell; Phoenix Sun Shaquille O’Neal; actress Holly Robinson Peete; former boxer Ernie Shavers; former football player Phillippi Sparks; actor Kevin Sorbo; former football player Roland Williams.
