Ian Poulter, Camilo Villegas: Caddy for a Cure

Congratulations to the flashiest golf cat on the greens, Ian Poulter, for winning the 2009 Singapore Open…but its not his victory on the golf course that’s got me smiling today, its his recent participation in Caddy for a Cure. In case you’ve been under a rock and haven’t read my previous posts- Caddy for a Cure is amazing organization that gives ‘fans’ a once in a lifetime experience to caddy for a PGA Tour professional-inside the ropes-while benefiting the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund, the Wounded Warrior Project, and many other worthy charities.

And need I mention that Caddy for a Cure has the CUTEST spokesperson ever? One of my favorite people in the world, Christian Collins (above with his pal Tiger Woods)…pay attention, you’ll notice him melting hearts on every golf course he touches, while raising awareness for Fanconi Anemia…(I can’t wait for the day that I get to meet my little hero.)

For me, it seems like a crime that most of the ‘Caddy for a Cure’ videos available on YouTube have gotten fewer hits than a video of a dancing baby or flying balloon. Seriously, why haven’t more members of the Camilo Villegas estrogen brigade launched onto this clip?

I mean really kids, what more can I say?
