Ryan Lochte: Behind the Medals
When’s he’s not winning gold medals, dethroning a ‘golden child’ or flashing those dimples, Olympic Gold Medalist Ryan Lochte (pronounced Lok-Tee) does much more than just dazzle in a Speedo.

With seven (and counting) Olympic medals under his suit and the worlds estrogen focused on him, we think its time to mention some of his out-of-the-pool activities.
Lochte supports several charitable organizations:
Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy (Duchenne): Lochte is a spokesperson, gives heavy financial backing…his support stems from a loss of a family member from Duchenne’s disease.
The Mac Crutchfield Fund: Spokesperson for the organization named after a young boy who drowned during a thunderstorm in 2008; Lochte’s involvement and support basically put the organization on the map. (http://www.maccrutchfieldfoundation.com)

Now, we would be remiss NOT to mention the ‘grill’. Lochte apparently wanted to honor ancient Olympians who used to bling out their teeth for the ceremonies…he was told to ditch the ‘grill’ if he wanted to claim his medal on the podium, he did and popped diamond encrusted waste-of-money in after the ceremony…seems he’s no stranger to grills either, he wore a similar one in Shanghai last year and down under in 2007.
All things Lochte can be found on his website (http://ryanlochte.com) including his fitness video and some yummy modeling photos.
As Always, thanks for reading.
