Hotties are about to take over the X Games in Los Angeles this weekend, but it’s the RallyCross debut on Sunday that has us excited.
The Global RallyCross Championship consists of five wheel-to-wheel RallyCross races, all featuring an X Games-style 70-foot gap jump.
Although we don’t really know much about Rallycross, we are enjoying the mini-exodus of action-sports stars getting behind the wheel. To wit, 14-time XG skateboard medalist Bucky Lasek who will be making his X Games RallyCross debut on Sunday.
Earlier this week, Lasek was joined by PGA Tour babe Rickie Fowler at the Subaru PUMA Global Rallycross Team Testing Day.
Fowler, who will not be behind the wheel, has in fact, gone ‘where no PGA golfer has gone before’ –and we’d like to see more of it-mainly, an X Games version of golf please.
Fowler and Lasek have quite a few things in common. Both hotties are So-Cal residents, both are sponsored by PUMA, both are smoking hot and both have stellar reputations in terms of ‘giving’…in fact, Fowlers first PGA Tour event as a professional was the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open…which automatically makes him a mighty-mighty-fine man.
MORE: Subaru PUMA RallyCross Team is in sunny California for X Games 18. The famed action sports event takes place in downtown Los Angeles from June 28th to July 1st. For the past two days, the team has been offsite testing and fine-tuning their Subaru WRX STI RallyCross cars. Bucky Lasek was handed a brand new full-spec machine this week; and Dave Mirra and Sverre Isachsen spent their test days fine-tuning suspension settings and other car configurations.
As always, thanks for reading~
