Zurich Charity Cup

Since 2005, Zurich and the Zurich Classic of New Orleans – together with the Fore!Kids Foundation – has raised more than $8 million for over 40 charities that serve more than 200,000 children in need throughout southeastern Louisiana.

This year, the Zurich Classic gave a total of $216,000 to several initiatives – all under the “Zurich HelpPoint Fore!Kids” theme—intended to help families and children of New Orleans.

This direct contribution from Zurich is in addition to the approximately $1 million that the Zurich Classic brings in each year for charities supported by the Fore!Kids Foundation, a 501©(3) corporation and the charitable-arm of the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

But just because the event is over, doesn’t mean you can’t play, in fact, Zurich Golf Ambassadors are asking you to join them in the Zurich Charity Cup, a 9-week fan voting contest and social media-based competition among the seven Zurich Ambassadors.

Each week, for nine weeks, you can “cheer” for your favorite team on-line while learning more about the Zurich Golf Ambassadors and their charities. The participation comes via the Zurich Charity Cup website which hosts a fun interactive game of Q&A about the golf hotties’ chosen charity, after you play, your “cheer” is logged…Zurich, along with GOLF Magazine, will donate $30,000 to the charity of the player with the most participation. www.zurichcharitycup.com
