NFL Player Ray Rice Changing Lives
Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice deserves some love. The NFL player may be a free-agent as of this writing, not sure, but if that’s the case, it’s a win-win situation for the kids.

Perusing Rice’s Twitter and Facebook reflects an incredibly altruistic athlete. This morning, Rice shared a photo of he and ‘his main man Donte,’ explaining to fans that “the kid just has a personality that can light up a room.”
After the Baltimore Ravens lost their chance at the Super Bowl, Rice commented:
“I get over wins and losses really fast. I’ve had the ability to get over this one faster than people expected me to. I will watch the Super Bowl. There are people in the world hurting worse than the Baltimore Ravens. There are people with cancer; people suffering from poverty, disease. There are people battling real-life situations.”
Furthering his actions, Rice is actively engaging fans on social media sites, answering their questions and offering uplifting advice. A recent letter from a young fan using profane language had obviously bothered Rice:
“My publicist…just text me a photo of a letter from a NINE YEAR OLD BOY…saying he was writing to tell me that I am the Bleeping Bleep (Fill in the bleeps with 2 common curse words) I am so disappointed in this! Wish today’s youth would spend time expanding their vocabulary so there would be no need for this type of language. I don’t even know what to say.” Fans answered and Rice responded: “Thanks for all the comments on my last post – ok so I have decided to take the advice of a fan and write back to the 9 year old boy who wrote curse words to me.”
Not sure how that saga concluded, but it goes to show you that there are some mighty-might fine NFLers who really do care about today’s youth.
We highly recommend you check out his Facebook, Twitter or Website for more information and inspiration.
As always, thanks for reading~
