Virgin Money
“It’s going to be pretty unpleasant,” Richard Branson said. “I suspect most people will be thoroughly, thoroughly ill throughout most of the journey.”

Early this morning, Sir Richard Branson along with a crew that includes his son and daughter-departed on a journey to break the record for sailing across the Atlantic. His latest endeavor aboard the 99-foot Virgin Money maxi yacht will be a six-day sail carrying high hopes of smashing the current record of 6 days, 7 hours 39 minutes and 52 seconds. “We’re going to be in some pretty ferocious weather,” said Branson, the billionaire British babe and chairman of the Virgin Group of companies. “And those are the kinds of wind we need for the record attempt.”
At approximately 4 a.m., the clock started ticking when the Virgin Money passed the Ambrose Lighthouse (NY area), giving her until 9:39.52 p.m. on Oct. 28 to break the record. The Branson offspring along for the journey include his 26 year-old daughter, Holly, who will serve as the boat’s medic, and his 23-year-old son, Sam who appears to be as smoking hot as his daddy.
And with this I must admit, I wish I were on the Virgin Money. I wish I could join in the post-sail celebration…bottom line kids, my posts may become fewer and fewer these days as I mull over my place in the blog world. So bear with me kids…if you subscribe to the news feed it will automatically update you when I next post. Until then, look for me on Look to the Stars (www.looktothestars.org) and as always, thanks for reading.
