Athlebrities Flock to Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope

Last night, the party was on at Samsung’s seventh annual Four Seasons of Hope gala that generated $1.1 million for several charities that aid children and families. Host Regis Philbin, was joined by co-hosts Michael Strahan, and dancing babe Jason Taylor. Other heavy hitters who enjoyed a stellar perfomance by Carlos Santana while bidding on silent auction items such as an “Ultimate Santana Package,” included former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Wayne Gretzky, Arnold Palmer, Joe Torre, Boomer Esiason and Dan Marino.

“It is so rewarding to be able to come out and work with a first-class organization such as Samsung on a night like this,” said Santana. “We had a great crowd and were able to raise a lot of money for the charities Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope program supports. It’s not often you get such an eclectic group of athletes and celebrities together in one room, but when you do, special things happen and we were able to help a lot of children and families in need in the process.” Santana’s live performance was delivered from the heart, as his Milagro Foundation was one of the benefiting charities. To date, the event has raised more than $12M for charities.

That’s all I got for ya today kids…except for a big shout-out to Rocco-who should have been kissing that trophy instead of you-know-who.

As always, thanks for reading.
