PGA KITTENS

No surprise and never boring…Tiger Woods closed with a 4-under 68 for a five-shot victory in the PGA Championship on Sunday. This marks the sexy beasts 12th career major. (Only Nicklaus, with 18, has more). “It’s still a long way away. It’s not something I could get next year,” Woods insisted. “It took Jack over 20 years to get his. It’s going to take a career, and I’ve just got to keep plugging along and keep trying to win these things.” Mad love to fellow golf-kats Adam Scott and sublimely sexy Sergio Garcia, who closed out tied for third. Unfortunately, Camilo Villegas missed the cut, therefore we missed his flashy crawls.

Gotta give a shout out to the best dressed hottie on the greens, Ian Poulter. (closed tied for 9th) Poulter always lends some much needed flair to the greens, and somehow knows exactly where to place those sexy little rhinestones.
RAIN, SHINE OR SNOW

Who says golfers aren’t athletes? The Yankees and Red Sox wouldn’t play because of the rain. Meanwhile, golfers are out there playing on the ICE! The Chivas Snow Golf Championship in Santiago Chile, which forms part of ‘The Chivas Life Series,’ went down last weekend. The ‘series’ of events also includes the Chivas Elephant Polo (boo for animal cruelty Chivas) and Chivas Ocean Series. January 2006 saw the inaugural Chivas Snow Golf tournament, in St Moritz, Switzerland, and August 2006 saw the first time I ever heard of such a kick-ass event.
CHELSEA GAVE US MORE THAN A WIN

The first Premiership game of the season between Chelsea and Manchester City was played yesterday. John Terry spanked the first goal in…and from there it just got better. Not only did Chelsea win 3-0, but Shevchenko also gave us a yummy, yummy photo of him ‘tickling’ himself….need any help hot stuff?
KOBE’S BACK

The self proclaimed Black Mamba, Kobe Bryant, will appear on the cover of “NBA 07” videogame and in TV and print ads. This marks the first major sports marketing deal for Bryant since the Aspengate incident in July 2003. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The typical videogamers, males ages 14-34, “aren’t likely to balk at buying a game because of Bryant’s high-profile legal problems” said Sports Business Group President David Carter: “The video gamer is much more concerned with his on-the-court performance.” If that’s the case- why wait 3 years to put him on the cover?
ANDY, ARE YOU BACK?

Did Andy find his mojo this weekend or what? My eyes are still puffy from crying over Rafael Nadal’s loss, that Im not sure how to process what went down. Andy was like a fireball out there and served up his first victory in over a year, finishing off Juan Carlos Ferrero with three straight aces. Andy then planted a kiss on the court and high fived fans in the front row. “The way I’m playing now, I like my chances as well as anyone else not named Roger,” said Roddick. Let’s keep it real here. This is Andy first title in over a year, so I’m not confident he has regained all his mojo. Next week at the Open we’ll do another Mojo check. Fingers crossed that Andy remains healthy and doesn’t get too cocky.

Someone who should get a bit cocky is Gael Monfils. The hot 19-year-old Parisian tennis star has signed with IMG. This kid is on fire…In 2004, he was the #1 ranked junior in the world winning the Australian Open, Roland Garros and Wimbledon. In 2005, he won his first ATP title in Sopot. In 2006, he reached the second final of his career in Doha, losing to (who else) Roger Federer. He then reached the semi-finals of the Rome Masters Series and advanced to the fourth round at Roland Garros. “I am enjoying my tennis career and am happy to be part of the IMG team,” Monfils said. “With their expertise and global reach, I am confident they will find the right off-court career opportunities for me - while I focus on winning matches. I look forward to working with them.” The right off-court opportunities definitely should include some topless images, a few magazine covers, and at least one commercial, preferably with Hanes. Look for Monfils’ at the US Open (Aug 28) and help him celebrate his 20th birthday during the tourney on September 1.

Speaking of tennis hotties and their modeling gigs. Last week I mentioned James Blake and his spread in Men’s Vogue. In case you couldn’t find an issue, here are some of the great photos.
DAVID BECKHAM INTIMATELY
Becks and his wife are set to release their next line of fragrances. Intimately Beckham, for Him, and for Her. I’m sorry, but this is just too much for me to handle. One line of cheap “Cody” brand perfume was enough, but another? Beckham has broken one of the cardinal rules of remaining on the Hot List: Can’t sell out to funky brands like Avon or Cody. And I really hope Becks didn’t play any part in the wording of the press release…

Beckham for Him “projects the edgy, sexy side of David. A modern woody-spicy accord radiating warmth and sensuality. It leads with the intense freshness and sparkle of bergamot, tangy grapefruit zest and zingy cardamom. Awakening the senses and the appetite for life. Warm, sensual undertones of sandalwood, patchouli and amber create an unforgettable, intimate essence.” Yeah, it gets worse… Intimately BECKHAM for Her: The first feminine fragrance, bearing the Beckham monogram, conveys the essence of the Victoria known only to the people closest to her. An opulent bouquet of white flowers opens with the pure fresh notes of bergamot and rose petals that linger on the skin. Announcing the arrival of something special, something different. The exquisite heart of Casablanca lily, sublime tuberose and sensual orange blossom leads to a seductive base of voluptuous vanilla, rich sandalwood and elegant, sensual layer of musk.” I think Im gonna puke. There was no mention of the dude that’s suing Beckham in the press release? Apparently, Becks and the Waif snubbed nightclub owner Dave West at a party he paid $180,000 to attend. West forked out the money at a charity auction for a ticket to the Beckhams’ pre-soccer World Cup party in May, but West didn’t go to the Full Length and Fabulous bash after accusing the Beckhams’ staff of insulting him prior to the event. West claims the staff “talked down to him” and warned him against mingling with the celebrity guests in a pre-party phone call. Now he wants the Beckhams to pay another $180,000 to the NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) to compensate. West says, “This (staff) guy talked down to me about everything, including the dress code. I felt I would have been unwelcome and treated badly.” A spokesman for the Beckhams says, “It’s in the hands of lawyers.” Granted, West sounds like an idiot, but Becks should make the donation anyway, it’s not likely to put a dent in his wallet. But to Mr. West I say, next time, go to the stupid party. Of course they’re gonna lecture you about mingling and dress codes. That’s what they get paid to do. Last time I was cautioned about “co-mingling with the celebs” I ended up with my tongue down Hugh Grants throat.
NAME THIS FOOL AND WIN AN ATHLEBRITY T-SHIRT

As you know, Debbie and I had a run-in with several “alleged” hockey players while we were in Las Vegas. One of them we won’t name because he’s irrelevant. The second “player” remains a mystery. This hottie claimed to be a “hockey player” (full veneers top and bottom) with 12 years of play under his belt. (Among other things). The problem is this: NO ONE can tell me who the hell he is. I’ve hit up every single hockey “pundit” in the country and they all said the same thing: “He doesn’t look like a hockey player…never seen him before…he’s nobody…”Add the lack of info available on him, and I suspect he was not only full of shit, but full of himself as well. I’m counting on at least one of you sporno-hungry, fine-athlete adoring readers to ID this fool for me. Dude is fine, so one of you must know. Feel free to copy and send his image to all your friends. Let’s “out” this wanna be Athlebrity together.
HOT POINTS EARNED

Major Hot points earned by Denver Bronco’s wide receiver Javon Walker. Walker “borrowed” a photographer’s camera and took a few snap shots while he sat out the second half of their preseason game against the Titans.
