Sexy Villegas turned pro in 2004, and won 8 individual titles as a member of the University of Florida’s golf team.
He earned a scholarship to Florida for his hot golfing skills. Go Gators!
In the first start of rookie season, he matched a career-best round with a 64 during second round of the Sony Open in Hawaii.
He was a second runner-up at the Ford Championship at Doral, finishing tied for second with David Toms, one stroke behind Tiger Woods.
Last year he played the Nationwide Tour, where he started with no status, played hot enough to become exempt and finished the season 13th in earnings to qualify for the PGA Tour.
In 2006, Villegas has produced three top-three finishes in nine starts, including two ties for second place, and is the leading rookie in the money list with earnings of $1,246,971.
“It’s my first year out here and I’ve got nothing to complain about,” said the sexy golf cat.
“It’s a little different, and something new for me,” Villegas said when asked about his recent notoriety. “If you play good golf, people want to watch you. The bottom line is you have to play good golf.”
Play good golf? What is he thinking? Note to Camilo- you don’t have to play good golf. You don’t have to do anything except crawl.
